Rail Physics LLC was founded by Walter Rosenberger in 2023. Walter has been railroading for over 25 years, with key positions at Rail Sciences Inc., Norfolk Southern Research & Tests, and MxV Rail. With a passion for problem solving and an eye for process improvement, he seeks to share his knowledge and expertise for the betterment of the industry.
At Rail Physics LLC, we specialize in derailment analysis coaching, derailment cause-finding training, and derailment prevention consulting.
We work with railroads, from short lines to class 1's, equipment owners/lessors, infrastructure owners, operating entities, and others in the rail industry.
We align with the three Key Performance Indices in the rail industry: Safety, Efficiency, and Reliability by helping railroads focus on derailment prevention through accurate root cause-finding.
